IELA has been organising the Best Performance Awards for many years now. It is always great to see our members being awarded for their excellent performance.
During brainstorming activities on the subject of new award formats, we found it was time to emphasise the biggest, most important asset of our member companies - their employees. The exhibition industry knows what we do, but do they know who we are and what makes us special?
We are an important industry with very talented and dedicated individuals. It is worthwhile to share our stories. Sharing the stories that make our industry so special which makes our business more personal and tangible – that’s what it is all about.
To ensure visibility and to receive an objective and neutral judgement, we have put together a jury of 10 experts, including both internal and external representatives. Besides the IELA Chairperson and the 4 Chairpersons of each Working Group, 5 jury members will be appointed from trade associations, trade press and organisers.
How to participate?
Every IELA member company can hand in multiple nominations of individual employees.
Tell us the story about their outstanding commitment, dedication, service provided etc.

- What was so special?
- What was the impact for your company and/or your customers?
Be creative and tell us why your employee should be the Face of IELA.
The deadline for nominations is April 25th via email to the IELA Secretariat.
The jury will assess the entries and select the winner. The results will be announced mid - May and the winner will be invited to the IELA Congress to share his/her story on stage.
