On February 1st to February 3rd 2018 IELA is inviting 100 delegates to join the 2nd Operations Summit in Hong Kong. Members will have the opportunity to "Learn - Showcase - Network" in order to constantly improve operations and services for venue operators, exhibition organisers and exhibitors.
The second edition of the Operations Summit will again be funded by IELA.
The Operations Summit is based on three pillars:
Learn
The strong conference programme by IELA members and other industry professionals like Messe Düsseldorf AG and Lufthansa Cargo AG will give insight and valuable lessons to improve IELA member's OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE their performance and services.
The closing panel discussion will give all delegates the chance to reflect on the input given these two days to discuss their opinion and suggestions for successful business and cooperative relations with venue operators.
The On-Site visit to the Hong Kong Congress & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), firmly rooted in the Operations Summit's concept, will give all participants the chance to experience the local standards & practices giving a background to discuss worldwide differences with practical examples.
Showcase
The poster exhibition already launched last edition will again give our delegates exposure on-site. This exhibition is an integral part of the Operations Summit: delegates will have the possibility to showcase their company's strengths and USPs by means of display with roll-up banners, triggering successful and content-driven meetings.
Network
This year the networking sessions will be expanded after the successful model of the IELA Congress & Partnering Event meetings with MY AGENDA (pre-arranged meetings via IELA's event website). This allows the delegates to build lasting and profitable relationships with partners in the IELA network worldwide. The goal is to create strong partnerships between the IELA members.
As with all IELA events, delegates will enjoy a balanced mix of social- and industry related functions, taking advantage of all networking benefits including benchmarking amongst industry peers and enjoy social elements.
IELA is looking forward to welcome its members to this funded event to closely bring together the operations staff of the membership.
